小镇上的消防员们整天忙碌着,为什么呢？哪来的那么多火灾？

来看看消防员们的工作吧，他们不止要消灭火灾。罗利先生把钥匙掉进了下水道，结果他误打开了学校的水管，消防员们要来把水管关掉，把水吸走；威威医生忘记关宠物笼子，猫猫狗狗们跑到了公园里到处玩耍，消防员人要把它们全部都抓回来。小朋友们，你们还知道消防员们还要做什么工作呢？一起来讲讲吧。

The little town was quiet. Then... Woo-woo! Woo-woo!

小镇里面十分的宁静。突然被一阵“呜呜呜”的响声打破宁静。

We- ooo -we-ooo! went the siren for the town fire brigade!

喂呜，喂呜，喂呜！小镇消防队的警笛声响起来了。

At the bakery, Mr Tung put a tray of buns in the oven. He ran to the car park, but his van wasn't there. Mrs Tung had gone to get flour.

在面包店里，董先生把一盘馒头放进了烤箱里。他跑向停车场，但是他的货车不在那里了。董太太开着他的货车去买面粉了。

Oh, no! How would he get to the fire station?

哦，不。那他要怎么去消防局呢？

Woo-woo! Woo-woo! We-ooo-we-ooo!

喂呜，喂呜，喂呜！喂呜，喂呜，喂呜！

At the school. Mr Rowley was cleaning the roof. He slid down the ladder and dropped the hose. His car keys fell into the drain.

在学校里。罗利先生正在打扫屋顶。他从梯子上滑下来，水管掉下来。他的钥匙掉到下水道里面了。

Oh, no! How would he get to the fire station?

哦，不！那他要怎么赶到消防局去呢？

Woo-woo! Woo-woo! We-ooo-we-ooo!

喂呜，喂呜，喂呜！喂呜，喂呜，喂呜！

At the vet's, Dr Viv was checking the cats and dogs. She ran out to her truck. A parrot had pecked a hold in the tire!

在宠物店里。威威医生正在给小猫和小狗们做检查。她跑到她的卡车边。一只鹦鹉把卡车的轮胎啄了一个洞。

Oh,no! How would she get to the fire station?

哦，不！那她要怎么去消防局？

At last, the fire engine raced up the road to the fire.

最后，消防车跑向了火场。

Wooosh went the fire hoses. Wooosh! The fire was out.

沃什打开了消防水管。太好了，火被灭掉了。

Vroom, vroom, vroom! The fire engine drove off.

喂呜，喂呜，喂呜。消防车开走了。

"Fire! Fire! Buns on fire at the bakery!" the radio boomed.

“火险，火险。面包店着火了。”广播里紧急播放着。

Woo-woo! Woo-woo! We-ooo-we-ooo!

喂呜，喂呜，喂呜。喂呜，喂呜，喂呜。

The fire engine raced to the bakery. Smoke puffed out of the windows. Mr Tung hadn't turned off the oven.

消防车紧急跑向了面包店。浓烟从窗户里冒出来。董先生忘记关掉烤箱了。

Wooosh went the fire hoses. Wooosh! The fire was out.

沃什打开了消防水管。火被灭掉了。

Vroom,vroom,vroom! The fire engine drove off.

喂呜，喂呜，喂呜。消防车开走了。

'Flood! Flood! Flood at the school!' the radio boomed.

“洪水，洪水。在学校里发生了洪水。”广播里播送着消息。

Woo-woo! Woo-woo! We-ooo-we-ooo!

喂呜，喂呜，喂呜！喂呜，喂呜，喂呜！

The fire engine raced to the school. Water was going into the classrooms. Mr Rowley had left the hose on. Slurp!

消防车快速地跑向了学校。大水从教室里冲了出来。罗利先生把水管打开了，发出了啧啧的声音。

The water was sucked up.

水被吸干了。

Vroom! Vroom! Vroom! The fire engine drove off.

喂呜，喂呜，喂呜。消防车开走了。

"Cats! Dogs! Cats and dogs at the park." the radio boomed. Woo-woo! Woo-woo! We-ooo-we-ooo!

“小猫！小狗。有小猫和小狗被困在公园里了。”广播里播送着消息。喂呜，喂呜，喂呜。喂呜，喂呜，喂呜。

The fire engine raced to the park. Dogs were running around the park. Cats were up in trees, hissing at the dogs. Dr Viv had left the cages open.

消防车开到了公园里。小狗在公园里到处乱跑。小猫在树上对着乱跑的小狗嘶嘶乱叫。威威先生忘记关上宠物笼子了。

The firefighters climbed trees.

消防员爬上了树。

"Here, kitty, kitty,kitty!" they said. The held out bones. "Here doggy, goggy. doggy!" they said.

“这里，小猫小猫小猫。”他们喊着。他们又拿出骨头“小狗小狗快过来。”

Vroom! Vroom ! Vroom! The fire engine drove off.

喂呜，喂呜，喂呜。消防车开走了。

The firefighters were tired. They brushed their teeth and went to bed. In the moring, the town was quiet. Until...

消防员们太累了。他们赶紧刷牙然后上床睡觉。清晨，整个小镇都静悄悄的。直到……

Woo-woo! Woo-woo! We-ooo-we-ooo!

喂呜！喂呜！喂呜……！
